Power of Education for Sustainable growth of Underprivileged
With our educational programs, we try to provide quality education to underprivileged society and orphan children. Since India has got the independence, there are several educational programs run by different organizations and Government as well. But there are many hurdles and social barriers in the way of education for poor and orphan child. They are unable to reach the schemes and benefits despite their right to education. Hurdles such as poor infrastructure, inadequate funds, quality teachers & poverty.
Khair Technical Society comes with various educational programmes that can tackle all these hurdles and help the underprivileged society at each level. Our programmes are made with keeping in mind the basic needs of them as well as providing basic education. Education programme for orphans, poor child, women are designed in a way to achieve the ultimate dream of breaking the cycle of poverty through weapon of education.
Government makes many programmes and offer schemes but in the large population of India, the social non-profit organizations play an important role to carry away these facilities to needy one.
We support the education of underprivileged women, children by providing them financial assistance as per different age groups and income strata. To provide desired knowledge, skills, moral values and support is our primary motive. To ensure every child is gaining a holistic educational foundation to become a responsible and confident youth of tomorrow.
To achieve the dream, the KTS had worked in several steps as:
- Setup learning centres, Library, classrooms along with necessary educational materials.
- Inspire Local people to join as volunteers for the free education program and offer their teaching skill to educate children
- Create awareness program to bring them to school
- Offer School Day meal, so that hunger don’t become a barrier in the way of gaining education
- Attractive classes that create enthusiasm among children to come everyday and continue the studies
Learning Centres by KTS follows a structured curriculum implemented with dual approach of theoretical and practical approach. Teachers create the study programmes to offer influencing way of teaching so that each student can connect their studies with real life as money calculation, importance of behaviour, reading and writing, real life experiments. Through experiential learning ways of celebrations, events, field trips, picnics and workshops, students enjoy to study more.
Assessments are also conducted to give them a vital feedback and reward for their hard work. An analysis of the student’s performance helps to fill the gaps in the teaching-learning space. With this analysis, we identify students with remedial needs; students with learning disabilities and create solutions within the available resources. During special events and festivals, they are provided with good clothes, sweets. They get a chance to perform at cultural events through which they get to understand the society easily.
Library helps students to explore themselves in new dimension. They find their wings of imagination between books and inspirational magazines. The confidence builds up through these self exercises of study beyond the text books provided.
We believe in power of education that can bring change in socio-economic condition of underprivileged community. To make the importance of education, we had started different level of study levels from kindergarten to mid-level education, women education to any age group classes. We support the group of people financially to get their basic needs- food, clothes and education.
Our Long-Term Vision includes objectives as:
- Increased rate of children coming to school
- Decrease the drop-out rate
- Encourage them to enrol for the higher education
- Offer skills with education to offer financial stability
- Self-dependent and responsible citizen
