Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, founded the Khair Technical Society at Domariganj Distt Siddharthnagar U.P. He was born in a remote village of Distt Balrampur (Gonda). He Started his primary Education in Madarsa of native Village kundawoo. After completing the Primary Education, he was very much fond of getting higher Education but resources were limited and commitment to education was unlimited. So, he set out and reached Banaras for Admission and continued the study. Next phase of study come through Delhi and finally he completed his graduation in Unani medicine from Lucknow. He started his medical practice at Domariganj in the 1960’s and in a very short period become a leading and renowned medical practitioner of the area. He observed the backwardness and poverty of people of the area and get upset with the miserable condition.
He discussed with various personnel of different fields and concluded that only education may change their pathetic condition. So, his first aim was to establish an education base and for this, he had established first primary School at Domariganj. Resources were low and the dream were very high, but he continuously struggled with all hurdles, and tried constantly to fulfil his dream. It is the result of his efforts that he succeeded to found Khair Technical Society and established Khair Technical Centre ITI, Khair Senior Secondary School, many other Schools for boys and girls and remarkably orphanage centers. Besides Education, social welfare schemes were also continued. Dr Abdul Bari Khan a philanthropist, educationist, social leader and kind-hearted personality left for heavenly abode dated 10.07.2020.

Dr. Mehfoozur Rahman (1948-1998)
Dr. Mehfoozur Rahman, was doctorate from Medina University and was famous as great scholar of Hadith and Arabic literature. He played vital role in founding Khair Technical Society and in establishing schools along orphanage centre. The journey started after meeting with Dr. Abdul Bari Khan eventually after returning his native village post completion of studies. He analysed the situation of village and discussed the problem with Dr. Khan. Both of them also thought of various solutions and actions to reform the current situation of education and socio-economic condition of the area. He got too much influenced with the thought and vision of Dr. Khan and joined him which helped to gain momentum to the work and flourish the objectives of the Society. He will be always remembered as educationalist and social reformer.
